Attention Deficit Disorder(ADD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity
Disorder(ADHD): ADD/ADHD is now one of the most commonly diagnosed behavioral disorders in
children. Researchers believe that ADD/ADHD is caused by an imbalance
among brain chemicals known as neurotransmitters. For some, drugs such as
Ritalin have seemed like the answer. However, there are alternative
treatments that can help children get better grades without the side
effects of drugs.
Our approach to this dysfunction is multifaceted:
- We assess three dimensions of neurological organization:
laterality, centering and focus. As a results of our findings, we assign
repatterning techniques and specific Brain Gym ® movements. This results
in improvement in the brain's communication system leading to greater ease
in learning and reduced stress.
- Checking for food sensitivities and environmental stress and identifying
supplements and lifestyle changes, we make sure the person is getting all
the support they need.
- We identify and clear emotions that stop the person
from achieving their goals.
